Give the gift of love, friendship, commemoration or healing.

Fine artwork and fine woodwork should never be exhibited in a location where it would be subjected to extended periods of intense direct sunlight. A location with indirect sunlight works best.
My hearts are finished with one of the most eco-friendly finishes on the market; therefore, just a light dusting on occasion is all that is required.

Some of the hearts I make will not balance or sit level (vertically) on the wall once hung. This may be due to the shape of the heart or that some heart’s have voids in them that won’t allow them to balance.
To correct this issue: Get a straight pin, pencil, and hammer. Hang the heart at your chosen location. Using a finger push the tip of the heart until it sits vertically (the way you would like to view it). With the pencil place a small, light pencil mark on the wall near the tip of the heart. Remove the heart from the wall and with the hammer, tap the straight pin in to the wall where the light pencil mark was made. The straight pin should only project out of the wall approx. a ½ inch. Rehang the heart and pin will hold the heart vertically straight. The pin head will disappear visually as you and guests will have a tendency to focus on the art piece. -
Since I have been a cabinet maker, I have set a Canadian Penny & punched my initials into every artistic piece I have made. That is a lot of pennies over 40 years. The year the penny was minted would coincide with the year the artistic piece was made. Since pennies are not minted anymore, I still install a Canadian penny which proudly notes the item is Canadian made.
